PRODUCTION NOTES:

Written and recorded during the Fall and Winter of 1996.

The first official release by B! Machine, this decidedly synth-pop assemblage contains a selection of melody laden tunes. Aside from San Francisco, some tracks were written in Japan and Seattle. The lyrics on track 3 (After You Leave) were donated by the mysterious E. Keldson, occasional lyric contributor to the B! Machine project. Slave was the direct inspiration of the Japanese film Shizuka Sex Doll: Watashi wa dore (a personal favorite).

LYRICS:

Hospital Angel Words and Music N.Nicoll

We believe you

we believe you

the evidence is convincing

The heads that you fill with your fireflies

they run out of life and the light dies

when we see tomorrow through yesterdays eyes

we live tomorrow through yesterdays lies

We believe you

we believe you

the evidence is convincing, coincidence is convincing

This Room Words and Music N.Nicoll

You and I

we lie in this room

or that room, it could be any room

we listen to words

or the sound of us breathing

or nothing at all, sometimes nothing at all

I'm touching your skin

you sleep and your dreaming

this dream or that dream, that dream or this dream

I'm touching your skin

I sleep and I'm living

this dream and that dream, your dream is my dream

we wake up to late

or we wake up too soon

in this room or that room, it could be any room

we rise and we shine

or we lie in this room

doing nothing at all, sometimes nothing at all

After You Leave Words E.Keldsen

Music N.Nicoll

Smile your smile

the last one I'll ever see

to remember,
